Good swimming conditions today with the main event being the prestigious President’s Trophy which was awarded for closest to handicap time in the 50M Freestyle.
Cheryl Poppett swam well to beat a hotly contested competition. She receives her award from the President.
Next week’s prize event will be the Paul Crowe 400M Freestyle. The Jellyfish relay team will be the duty team on the day.
24th November
There was a high tide with light winds for this Sunday’s swim. The days award was the 400M Freestyle with the prize going to the swimmers closest to the handicap time. Steve Harper was the sponsor of this weeks award. Winners were Lisa Hedge (Female) and Craig Smith(Male). Steve presents the prize to Lisa and Craig:
Sunday 10th November
The conditions were windy, so times were affected on the day. There was a good attendance and the 400M Freestyle was the main event sponsored by Joan Harper and Barbara Murphy. The winners were Sidney Mulholland (Female) and Steve Harper (Male). Congratulations to both. Next weeks event is the Rapp’s 50M Freestyle.
Nov 3rd Results
A beautiful weather day at Gunnamatta Bay and a good attendance of swimmers. The main event of the day was the Bob McKenna Memorial Trophy with Paul Cavanagh sponsoring the prize. The winner was Yasmin Denhi-Stalker. Congratulations Yasmin, well swum. Next week is the Joan Harper/Barbara Murphy 400M.

2019 Summer season in full swing
The Summer season is off to a good start and the pool has warmed as the month progressed. Relay teams have also commenced competition. Regular updates will be following. Relay teams and duty roster can be found on the Relay link. Thursday night have also restarted with good rollups. The greys return to Gunnamatta from the North Cronulla Pool on Friday 1st November.
