- Our presentation night was a great success and thanks to all those who attended on the night.
- BOWLS: The RSL Bowling Club has invited our club to join them for an afternoon of bowls on Saturday 4th August. Should you wish to take part please reply noting your interest. The cost is $12 and this includes raffle tickets and nibbles. You do not need to be a bowler to enjoy this day. Starts at 12pm for registration and bowls at 12.30pm.
- STANWELL PARK WINTER SWIM: There is a swim organised Sunday 29th July which is hosted by Stanwell Park Eels Swim Club. This a a great day and they provide a hot feed in the Surf Club afterwards. We will be car pooling from Caringbah Pool Car Park. Please let Carrol Daly know if you want to attend.
- AGM: Our AGM is scheduled for September 6th (Thursday) at the RSL Club. Nomination forms for positions are available for download here.

Congratulations to Grant Conway on winning the Jack Kirkland 400m
Ian Bourke 100m and North Family 50m Form Stroke
It was another windy Sunday down at the bay but we had a great turn out regardless. Congratulations to Joan Harper and Denis Woodland for winning the Ian Bourke 100ms and to Joyce Grounds for winning the North family 50m form stroke.
Iron Person and Barlow 50m
Congratulations to Deb Jenkins who took out the Annual Iron Person event! Well done to everyone who participated! Not without some controversy, Paul Cavanagh was the nearest to his nominated time for the event.
We also had the Barlow 50m event. Congratulations to Ian Bourke and Yasmin Dehni-Stalker.

AIF Championships
It was wonderful to see so many of our swimmers not only attend the AIF Championships but do so well in both results and records. As a club, we placed fourth in the overall point score.

200m Club Championship and the Rod Heidenreich 50m
What started as a lovely morning ended up being quite blustery and choppy in the water. We finished the club championship events with the 200m race and had the Rod Heidenreich 50m trophy.
Congratulations to Deb Jenkins and Paul Cavanagh for winning the 200m club championships and to Corinne Archer and Paul Rugg for winning the Rod Heidenreich trophy.

Despite the weather being a little cold and blustery we had a great turn out for the 400m championships. Congratulations to everyone who participated, in particular to Deb Jenkins and Kalem Bronner who placed first.

St George Leagues Swimming Club Carnival
19 swimmers attended the St George Leagues Swimming Club carnival on Wednesday night. It was fantastic event and we had some great results for the club.
