Congratulations to Grant Conway on winning the Jack Kirkland 400m
It was another windy Sunday down at the bay but we had a great turn out regardless. Congratulations to Joan Harper and Denis Woodland for winning the Ian Bourke 100ms and to Joyce Grounds for winning the North family 50m form stroke.
Congratulations to Deb Jenkins who took out the Annual Iron Person event! Well done to everyone who participated! Not without some controversy, Paul Cavanagh was the nearest to his nominated time for the event.
We also had the Barlow 50m event. Congratulations to Ian Bourke and Yasmin Dehni-Stalker.

It was wonderful to see so many of our swimmers not only attend the AIF Championships but do so well in both results and records. As a club, we placed fourth in the overall point score.

What started as a lovely morning ended up being quite blustery and choppy in the water. We finished the club championship events with the 200m race and had the Rod Heidenreich 50m trophy.

19 swimmers attended the St George Leagues Swimming Club carnival on Wednesday night. It was fantastic event and we had some great results for the club.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 50m and 100m Club Championships with Deb Jenkins and Kalem Bronner winning the Female and Male events. The 200m and 400m Club Championship events will be held over the new few weeks.
The Piccone 50m event was hotly contested with Jon Jenkins and Elizabeth Whitcombe coming in closest to their tag times. Congratulations to both.
